Goodness, I do love a mid-century modern house. Barnesworth Anubis brings this gorgeous mid-century gem to The Garden this month: the Atherwood Home. It’s got great lines and a fun layout — plenty of room for living, but not so big that it won’t still feel cozy. I love the brick accents, and the indoor terrace is a great surprise. And – I suspect Barnes would be disappointed if I don’t mention  – the textures do show some depth which makes me happy. If you have shadows enabled all the time, then this house is going to look  just amazing. But if you’re like me and walk around most of the time without shadows, this house still works due to the slight shading and the framing accents inside. Also – there’s a great working fireplace, Barnes-style! ♥
