Here's the main thing I want to say about this picture: that bed looks motherf*ckin' real. As I was taking my pics, even though I clearly know that this is not a "real" bed, my brain was like 'whoa! look at that real bed!' I cannot take any credit for that bed looking so real, it has nothing to do with my photography -- the credit for that is all due to Trompe Loeil's Cory Edo. She made it happen. This is the Roanna Bed from this month's FaMESHed and it looks as real in-world as it does in this picture. Maybe I should be past the point where I'm so amazed by mesh and by what amazing designers like Cory are able to do with it...but I'm not. Sorry, not sorry.

Second Spaces is participating in this weekend's round of The Neighbourhood! For those new to this event, it goes like this: every Saturday, a select group of home and garden designers will participate as part of a rotation, and will put out a new item at the front of their mainstore. Items will be new, or a new and exclusive recolor of an existing item, and will be priced at 200L for 24 hours.

I've broken out of my mold a bit for this round and actually made something that is not just a cabinet and is upholstered. GASP. Truth be told, this started out as just the upholstery pieces, but then I was pressured by several Plurk friends to somehow include a cabinet. I do love cabinets. So this is a little bit of both - the Mellie Lounge.

Each set is only 200L, but only for today (May 10). After this round of The Neighbourhood is done, the sets will still be available but at full price. You know you love a bargain, so get over here!!

Fifty Linden Friday and Second Spaces are together again. Aww ♥. For this round, I've made another item from my years-long to-do list: a cabinet stuffed full of lovingly cluttered linens. Every home should have one. Overnight guests? No problem -- grab some pillows from the cabinet. A bit chilly? No problem - grab a blanket from the cabinet. Perfectly comfortable and no guests?
