Home Show 2014 is open!! It's a full sim of home & decor items from some of the best designers around the grid, and it is a must-shop event. Each designer was asked to create at least 2 new, exclusive items for the event, so you know there's going to be plenty of awesome to be found!

From Second Spaces, I've got two new cabinet-y things, because casegoods are my absolute favorite. ♥ For your entry hall, or laundry room, or actual mudroom (if you have one of those), I bring the Max Mudroom!

The Max Mudroom includes all the accessories shown, and is also available in tan and dark brown.

For your non-muddy areas, I've got the Lillian Hutch. This is one of those pieces that I would lovelovelove to have in RL. It's great for any room, really -- and would be super precious in the kitchen or dining room, a great place for dishes and knick-knacks.

The Lillian Hutch is also available in blue, green, and yellow.

One of the most exciting sets this time around is The International Set from Sorgo. Sorgo and designer Arscene Dubrovna are new to me, with The Arcade being my first look at Arscene's work, and I LOVE IT. The details in the meshes are amazing -- all the folded money and the casually tossed stacks, and that bag full of money is so awesome. The textures are spot on, and I just love that somebody made this set -- don't we all need stacks and stacks of cash to place around our houses? I KNOW I DO.

I checked out the Sorgo main shop, and I don't see any other home/decor items, but I hope that changes! I want more Sorgo decor!!! ♥

Tegan Serin of floorplan. has two machines at The Arcade, and one of those is the Salon set, which is A M A Z I N G. The salon chair and the vanity are gorgeous, and all the little salon accessories are just perfect. That's what excites me the most about this set -- all those little accessories sets are perfect for clutter in your bathroom and bedroom, and I am all about the clutter. Although I may just go ahead and drop a pair of the salon chairs in my living room and call it trendy. ♥

Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea has an adorably precious new set out at this month's FaMESHed -- the Salcombe Gazebo. With longing thoughts of spring, the gazebo is gorgeously constructed with lovely lattice walls and a semi-transparent roof to let the sunshine filter through on those gorgeous spring days that MUST be just around the corner. Right? Please?

The Salcombe set includes that beautiful couch (and a few other pieces) - the couch is so lovely with its springy color pallette and the perfectly draped pillows and throw. Isla does some of the best fabric draping ever. ♥

The March 2014 round of The Arcade has begun! I swear each round is better than the one before, and that's saying something. SO MUCH GOOD STUFF. AND, I'm really happy to see even more amazing home & garden items this time around. ♥

Second Spaces is participating in this weekend's round of The Neighbourhood! For those new to this event, it goes like this: every Saturday, a select group of home and garden designers will participate as part of a rotation, and will put out a new item at the front of their mainstore. Items will be new, or a new and exclusive recolor of an existing item, and will be priced at 200L for 24 hours.

This time around, I've got the Marie Refurbished Kitchen Island! It's a cute little dresser repurposed for your kitchen - complete with a butcher block top, potholders for the hot stuff, and dish towels for the wet stuff. There are three color packs to choose from, and each pack includes three colors. Something for everyone!

Hi! I'm so happy to be a part of this month's Collabor88 - it's actually the annual Collabor88 Prom, and Tegan Serin of floorplan. asked me to be her date! Awwwwww ♥. The theme is Supernova and Tegan and I have some spacey goodness for you!

The console tables are also available individually. For the event, each table is just 88L, or 188L for the fatpack. The shelf sets are 88L each, and the accessories pack is also only 88L. Spacey bargains!

Tegan has some really amazing projectors and more lovely framed prints!

You know, after 7 years, I feel like I have sort of run out of things to say in blog posts. I like to include some commentary...but I also like the idea of just posting a pretty pic and the credits so that you can pick out what interests you and then go find it in-world. When I "read" other home/garden blogs, I'm really just looking at the pictures for things that I want to check out further, and I'll scan the credits to see where those things are from. I rarely read the actual post. This is my truth.

The January round of Collabor88 is ending soon, so  let me slide in under the wire to show you the latest amazing house from Cory Edo and Trompe Loeil: the Sparrow Hill Lodge.

I may have said this on the blog before, but I'mma say it again anyway: I need a full sim where I can just set up all of Cory's houses and decorate them to my heart's content, and then live happily ever after in my own private little housing development.

As for Sparrow Hill, it's only 288L for the duration of Collabor88, so be sure to get over there before the 7th! The house is full of soaring windows and lots of open space for decorating, a lovely wraparound porch, and of course gorgeous textures and shadows as all of Cory's houses have. Another job spectacularly well done. ♥
